I'm going to start with a summary, for those who don't want to read the full post: We are critical of gender expectations, and of the ideas that society has and teaches about sex and gender, especially that it is binary. But we are never critical of a person's identity and lived experience
If you've had a look at the future of Ungendered page, you'll have seen that we someday plan on making genderless clothing. Currently there are no facilities to aid us in making clothes that are not defined as 'men's' and 'women's', but we are approaching at time when we can sell printed t-shirts/hoodies, that kind of thing with our own Ungendered designs.
This is where you could possibly help...
It's only the features that need to be completed on the website now. And I know what you're wondering, Gnot, why are you blogging instead of actually working on the website?!
Mostly because right now there are tiny hands trying to grab my keyboard, and it does not make working very easy to do - so the most I can get done on the website is at night time when xe is in bed.
I'm working really hard....
I'd love to be a hand model. Look at those hands, they're such REAL hands. I don't like fakeness, none of this "only the super-soft and super-perfect hands can be in photos". I love these hands. Whomever owns these hands, congratulations. You grew some nice hands.
Anyway... So I'm working hard to get the content on this website. I've actually just stopped to blog because even with a fantastically easy editor like Weebly, it does take some effort to make a site. I definitely prefer this to that terrible website making program I actually paid for...
Next things I'm going to have to do is actually start writing some of the things that need to go on here - probably best to do that when I'm not so tired.
Hopefully things will be up and ready soon!
